Global Dignity Day in 50 countries worldwide
On Wednesday 17th October 2012 schools and organizations from around the world will once again celebrate Global Dignity Day.

During Global Dignity Day students are inspired to recognize dignity as an integral right for themselves and for others. They are motivated to express themselves and to tell their own stories of living a dignified life and how it is interdependent on the lives of others.
Global Dignity Day is the third Wednesday in October and has been organized since 2008, and now has over 350.000 participants in over 50 countries around the world.
Global Dignity Day 2012 will be held in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Burundi, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Holland, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mali, Mexico, Monaco, Mongolia, Mozambique, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States and Venezuela.
